Australia's largest independently-operated mortgage broker, Mortgage Choice is proud to be recognised as the industry's best retail mortgage broker, taking home top honours at the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia's (MFAA) 2012 Excellence Awards on Friday night.
The occasion marks the sixth time in eight years that the nationwide franchisor has been named Retail Aggregator/Originator of the Year, a premier industry award category that is open to originator groups where all members trade under the same brand.
Loan consultant Keith Caine from Mortgage Choice in Glenelg, South Australia added to the company's success by winning the individual Achievement Award. Also, Mortgage Choice franchisee Ben Herden and his team in Gymea, New South Wales, were finalists in the Mortgage Broking Business (2-5 loan writers) of the Year category.
Mortgage Choice CEO, Michael Russell said the company is honoured to once again receive the top industry recognition at the annual MFAA Excellence Awards.
"Reclaiming our title of Retail Aggregator/Originator of the Year means a great deal to us, given that slower than expected housing finance demand has meant competition for market share has been fierce.
