We are looking for a Head of Public Relations to formulate, implement and manage our public relations program in order to increase brand awareness and consideration. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Group Marketing and Communications, you will be involved in building and maintaining a positive public profile of our company, along with creating content for various Mortgage Choice marketing activities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Realising opportunities for media coverage and liaising successfully with media, franchisees, advisers, investors, analysts and industry peers;

To be successful you will have the following:

Our IT team is growing and going through an exciting period of growth where IT infrastructure is at the forefront of the business.

Reporting into the Software Development Manager this role has been created to provide development resource of the primary enterprise core systems used by the Mortgage Choice franchisee community and Group and State Office teams. This includes essential production support, deployment management and significant ongoing development and enhancement to this core platform.

As a Senior .NET Developer you will

  • Be required to have intimate involvement in core systems replacement strategies and projects.
  • Manage the source code and development environments to strict standards of compliance and best practice, ensuring limited risk to the operations of Mortgage Choice.

Essential Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications or similar within IT
  • Accomplished software developer (5+ years commercial experience) with a experience in RESTful API, Web services, Web UI development
  • Experience with the MS .Net stack (C# and/or VB .NET, DotnetCore, WebAPI WCF, ASP.NET, ASP MVC etc)
  • Experience on HTML5, CSS, Javascript and JS frameworks e.g. Angular JS and Bootstrap
  • Experience on MS SQL 2000 to 2016, SSIS and SSRS
  • Understanding of on SOA, Microservices, Design Patterns, OO design and Database design

You will be part of a small team within the Finance department, responsible for all management reports, revenue forecasting, ad hoc analysis, presentations and projects for the Business and the franchise network.

Reporting to the Manager- Financial Analysis, essentially the role of Junior Reporting Analyst will see you responsible for extracting financial and non-financial data from various data sources on a regular basis and prepare management and franchisee reports. Additionally, you will respond to data and report related queries, prepare presentation slides and assist with ad-hoc calculations, analysis and projects.

You will be part of a small team, responsible for the timely and accurate provision of information and support to the franchise network and other parts of the business in respect of lending. This encompasses product, policy and process information, serviceability criteria, contact details, non-mortgage product support, compliance training and support, complaint management and oversight of the activities of all Credit Representatives under Mortgage Choice's Credit Licence.

Support is provided to the franchise network in terms of product research, structure of complex deals and finding the correct lender to meet a client's needs. Mainly this occurs through correct use of the software and information systems, but telephone, email and group forum support is also provided to back this up.

The role will essentially encompass the following aspects:

  • Monitoring of Credit Representatives for example completion of credit standards checks and loan application assessments;
  • Network support via email, telephone and Lending Advice Forum;
  • Improvement of network knowledge through lending Hints and Tips, Online training tips, Induction and Accelerate sessions.

To be successful you will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years lending experience;
  • Diploma in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) or equivalent will be well regarded;
  • Understanding of lending terminology and assessment requirements;
  • Highly developed critical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Be well organised with a systematic approach to complex tasks and accuracy and rigour in their execution;

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager & working alongside a Development team, you will be responsible for ensuring our solutions cater to project scope and requirements whilst ensuring alignment to the strategic roadmap of enterprise systems used by the Mortgage Choice Group (staff & franchise network).

You will have intimate involvement in core systems replacement strategies and projects whilst producing tactical and strategic solution options. You will also engage the development team to produce detailed designs and build items with estimates.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be involved with the following:

  • Strategy & Architecture such as, providing input to the strategic direction of technology & assisting in defining current, incremental and target state architectures.
  • Technical Strategy & Planning such as the preparation of software development plans and ensuring appropriate technical resources are available.
  • Solution Architecture such as, responding to project requirements with tactical and strategic solution options, creating & maintaining architectural documents and providing architectural oversight to a small delivery team.
  • Systems Development such as, identifying build items and estimates for high level and detailed solution designs and the ability to guide a small development team.

What we are looking for

To be the successful candidate for this exciting opportunity, it is essential that you have the following technical skills, competencies & experience:

  • Implementation and integration of Service Oriented Architectures
