Can I apply for a higher credit limit?

After six months you can apply to have your credit limit increased by downloading and completing the form available for download under credit card options in Mortgage Choice Online Services.


If you have opted in to receive credit limit increase invitations, we also regularly review your credit limit and may contact you to invite you to apply for an increased credit limit through self service in Mortgage Choice Online Services, if you are eligible.

How do I activate my Card?

To activate your card please call our Customer Service Centre on 1300 150 100 and we will activate the card for you.

What is MasterCard SecureCode?

MasterCard SecureCode is an online security service that enhances secure internet shopping by asking you to verify your Account details when unusual activity on your Account occurs online.
You may be required to verify your identity by providing further information for certain online transactions before proceeding. It only takes a moment and is easy to use – simply enter your details when prompted when completing an online transaction.

Can I use my card to make purchases online?

Yes, your card can be used to make purchases online. As an added feature, your Mortgage Choice Credit Card comes with the Zero Liability promise to cover all your online transactions against unauthorised or fraudulent internet purchases.


Plus you can shop online with even greater confidence with MasterCard SecureCode.

Who should I contact if my card is lost or stolen?

If your card is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately on 1300 150 100, or if you are calling from overseas, +61 2 8232 4677, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Can I choose my card PIN?

You can change your PIN online through self service in Mortgage Choice Online Services

You do not need your existing PIN to select or change your PIN.

How do I change my personal details?

To update your contact details please call our Customer Service Centre on 1300 150 100 and we will make the changes for you.

How can I pay my bill?

There are four different methods to pay your bill

Direct Debit

You can set up a direct debit in the self service section in Mortgage Choice Online Services.


Post Billpay

Pay in person at any Australia Post office. Payments can be made by cash, EFTPOS or cheque.


Cheque

Cheques must be made payable to Card Services and include your account number.

How do I set up a direct debit?

How do I set up a recurring payment e.g. My gym membership?

Setting up a recurring payment is a convenient & easy way to pay your monthly bills.

To set up a recurring payment simply

1. Decide which bills you wish to pay automatically e.g. your mobile phone bill or gym membership

2. Contact that service provider

3. Provide your Mortgage Choice Platinum Card details and consent to the service provider

What is MasterCard PayPass?

MasterCard PayPass is a new contactless method of payment, the latest evolution in MasterCard payments. Your Mortgage Choice Credit Card has a tiny antenna embedded into the chip, which securely transmits payment instructions to and from a specially adapted card terminal.

How is interest calculated?

Interest is calculated based on the balance you have outstanding on each day of the statement cycle. The interest rate, also known as the ‘Annual Percentage Rate’ (APR) is included on the front page of every statement you receive. Interest is calculated based on the daily rate of interest (the APR divided by the number of days per year). This rate is also included on each monthly statement and is effective for interest calculations in that statement period.
