Australian property investors continue to dominate the market, with the percentage of investors eclipsing 30 per cent, according to new research conducted by Mortgage Choice.

Investors are currently very confident about the Australian property market and are displaying the right attitude towards property investment, with almost 53 per cent of QLD respondents saying that buying an investment property would help them prepare for retirement.

Rising property prices are making it harder however, for QLD investors to buy alone. On average, Brisbane property values rose 7.0 per cent over the 12 months to July 2014, according to research from RP data.
