Coming from a marketing background, Matt made a big career change after realising that his passion was in finance. He's an analytical whiz (which is great for putting together applications!) and loves that his role combines problem solving with helping people achieve their property goals.

"I enjoy the opportunity mortgage broking offers as it allows me to use my analytical skills in a manner that fosters personal relationships with my customers. Knowing that your work directly benefits your clients is a rewarding feeling and one that I look forward to experiencing as I progress through my career as a broker. On the weekends I love to play football which helps keep me fit while having fun with my mates".

Client Relationship Manager | Loan Writer

Carol has worked with our team since 2006 and has extensive experience in dealing with banks and lenders. Carol is a qualified Loan Writer, however, these days she works more closely with Michael and his clients. Carol has gained a wealth of knowledge throughout this time and really enjoys assisting clients, whether that is a first home buyer, through to the more complex self-employed clients.  

"I think it's really important that clients are well educated in the loan process to enable them to make good choices.  I am happy to spend as much time as necessary to go through our recommendations and ensure they are comfortable with the lending process.  Communication is very important to me, and we work hard to ensure our clients are kept up to date at all times. When not at work, I love planning a good holiday!".

Credit Analyst | Loan Writer

Kate is an experienced loan writer and administrator, and has been working with Mortgage Choice since 2005. She is super organised and having also previously worked as a Mortgage Choice business owner herself, her experience means she has an understanding of the whole finance process. Kate has a natural eye for detail and focusses on the technical side of your loan ensuring you have the right strategy in place to match your property goals.

"My experience in both mortgage broking and professional organising give me the perfect foundation for loan packaging and processing for Mortgage Choice clients. I predominantly work with Geoff's clients and am passionate about helping people reach their property goals by taking care of all the application legwork for our clients so they don't have to. Outside of  work I love sewing and creating sustainable garments using recycled fabrics".

Client Services Manager | Administration 

Kelly is a favourite with our clients in Nunawading! She helps make sure our clients are up-to-date with how their loan is progressing and keeps our lender partners and banks on their toes. She is super organised and loves chatting to clients.

"I know that people can feel a bit nervous about their loans going through, so I try and make sure that we know exactly where the application is at, as well as communicating with the client to put their mind at ease". Downtime for me includes a daily Pilaties session, reading, listening to music and long walks. I am also a very passionate AFL Collingwood supporter.  

Customer Care Manager | Administration 

Meg is passionate about our Customer Care at Mortgage Choice, and truly cares that our clients are feeling comfortable and supported with our team. Meg forms part of our Customer Care team, spending her time negotiating with lenders on behalf of our clients to see if we can get them a better deal.

"I have seen what a difference great loan advice can make to someone's life over time, including my own! Our clients may come in with no idea what steps to take next, but by the time they leave we have put together a plan to get them on their way to their dream home."

Customer Care Consultant 

After spending 15 years in direct sales and customer service, Danielle has now joined our team as our newest Customer Care Consultant! She is busy using her extensive experience in customer service to touch base with our clients and offer our support with reviewing their home loan or using their equity. 

"After so many years in customer service, it has been great to apply my skills helping people make sure that their home loan is still the right one while keeping the banks honest and reviewing our customers variable interest rates regularly.  It's been great to have the opportunity to develop relationships with clients in the long term, rather than just for the one transaction." Outside of work it's all about my family, 4 kids keep me on my toes with sport and other commitments - not to mention a very large extended family on both sides. Quality family time is my priority as well as being very active within our church commmunity".

Client Services | Settlements

Previously with Westpac Mortgage Services as a senior consultant, Ram has extensive experience in the admin side of the home loan process. Ram makes sure that the team are always on top of every loan file, and customers are kept up to date on the progress and happy with the process.

Client Services | Loan Processor 

Awarded as Outstanding Employee at Firstmac, Lavida is our newest team member at Mortgage Choice Nunawading. Lavida has extensive work experience in the end-to-end loan processing and organizes our client’s documents ensuring their loan applications are submitted and assessed efficiently. She communicates with the lenders to ensure that assessment is carried out and completed within the service level agreement. 

"I love to spread positivity and good vibes in all that I do". Bridging our clients with lenders is a fantastic profession and I treat every transaction with the utmost care. In my local community I give back to others by growing produce and sharing it with neighbours in a backyard farming project.
