Brisbane has remained one of the best performing markets over the past year. The PropTrack Home Price Index for March 2024^ confirms that home prices in Brisbane have risen at a fast pace in the year to date and are now 12.90% above March 2023 levels.
Prices lifted a further 0.41% in March and are up 2.22% in the first quarter of 2024. The city’s median home value is now $801,000, just $1,000 below the median value of $802,000 for Melbourne.
In regional Queensland, home values gained an extra 0.49% in March, taking the median value to $647,000. It caps off annual growth of 10.18%.
