….A little about Worongary

This hinterland suburb of the Gold Coast is growing with a major new development in the planning stages on its northern border.  Its easy access to the M1 makes it easy to commute to northern or southern suburbs and its major arterials of Gooding Drive and Neilson Rd connects this suburb to the greater hinterland and Broadbeach.

Worongary has a mix of small acreage, larger bush acreage and residential blocks.  One of the stand out features is the panoramic views of the iconic Gold Coast skyline as many of the western blocks enjoy an elevated position.

There is also a love of horse riding in this suburb, with many properties having horses grazing in their yards.  One local park has a horse jumping arena to support the exercise of the local horses.

Worongary has a state primary school opened in 1993.

Worongary town centre is just off the M1 and is a convenience based shopping complex with Coles, speciality stores and a primary care medical precinct.  Worongary is close to the major retail hub of Robina, Cbus stadium and the community sporting clubs in both Nerang and Mudgeeraba.
