Meet the team

Martin Roach’s clients benefit from his extensive experience in finance and banking, and his commitment to building long-term relationships based on providing outstanding service and advice.

With over 20 years’ experience working in residential and commercial finance, Martin has a first-hand understanding of how to arrange finance for his clients’ personal, business, and investment needs.

“The service we provide is tailored to the individual unique needs of each of our clients and reflects my focus on building strong, ongoing relationships with them,” Martin said.

“The most important thing I can do as a mortgage broker is take the time to understand what my clients want to achieve, both now and in the future. I’m genuinely interested in people, their goals and helping them to achieve these.”

Martin’s wife, Renae Roach, joined the business in early 2016 in the position of Client Service Manager.

Renae has a professional background in insurance, finance and sport management, and throughout her career she has prioritised customer service.

“Having a family of our own, we understand the importance of saving time and stress in dealing with finances,” Renae says. “We want to ensure all our clients are kept fully informed through the loan process, saving them not only time and money but also stress.”

Martin believes securing the loan is only the beginning of the relationship with his clients.

“Once that transaction is settled, our priority is then to keep in regular contact, check how our clients are progressing with achieving their goals and advise of any changes that may be needed,” he says.

Martin is able to assist a wide range of borrowers – first homebuyers aiming to get into the market, growing families wanting to refinance to save on repayment, investors looking grow their investment property portfolio or business owners seeking funding for equipment, commercial premises or to improve to their cashflow.

Martin has an office conveniently located in Norwood, although he is happy to meet clients at a time and place that suits them.

After joining her husband in the Mortgage Choice franchise in 2016, Renae has looked after all areas of the business from loan preparation right through to settlements for their clients.

Coming from a professional background in insurance, finance, and sport management, Renae has a wealth of experience in customer service and communication skills to support clients through their financing journey.

When not at work, Renae enjoys her spare time with her family & friends, attending sporting commitments for their children, DIY renovation projects, exploring new travel destinations and generally enjoying the great outdoors.

Renae is a mum to three daughters and believes having a family of their own, she understands the importance of saving time and stress in dealing with finances. She wants to ensure all our clients are kept fully informed through the loan process, saving them not only time and money but also less stress.

Kirsty joined the Mortgage Choice Roach team in 2023 and has said “I’m loving every minute! Martin and Renae are so wonderful to work with and we make a brilliant team together”.

Kirsty has been working in the finance industry for over 20 years in various roles with different lenders, giving her a vast background and knowledge which is evident when she is assisting customers with their finance. She excels in her attention to detail and always displays a people-first attitude which you will experience every time our clients engage with her. 

Kirsty grew up on a hobby farm and has fond memories of spending time with their cows.  To this day, she still wants to have another cow in the back yard!

Kirsty is a mum of two and loves renovating and spending time with family and friends.  In her spare
time, you can always find her with a paint brush in one hand and a glass of wine in the other!

Anna joined the Mortgage Choice Roach team in Feb 2023 and has been working in the finance/superannuation industry for over 40 years in various roles with different organisations. She enjoys the variety of work at Mortgage Choice with numerous lenders providing an excellent customer experience.

Anna is transitioning to retirement, a grandmother of 6 very beautiful and  active grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them all, whether watching them plaing sports or just reading a book.

Anna enjoys walking along the foreshore, Pilates, watching Netflix series (replaced book reading), long lunches with girlfriends, catching up with family and friends, exploring wineries around Adelaide or planning that next holiday!!
