Being a first home owner and having absolutely no knowledge of mortgages etc, Matt has been an absolute legend working with me and explaining the processes. I felt so comfortable using Matt and his team. Nothing has been too hard and he's gone above and beyond many of times to help get things on track. Matt did a very good job, being somewhat limited in options due to current arrangements with a specific bank. He was accommodating in getting paperwork handled and communicated when required - very happy with the outcome.
A suggestion of what we would have found of interest is a simple map - most people don't do this often! To understand the steps / process the loan application goes through and 'typical' timelines - application, valuation, conditional approval, formal approval, document signing etc etc - a pro forma document giving visibility of the steps involved I think many customers would appreciate knowing whats ahead of them.

Matt was integral in getting our loan through in a timely measure as the settlement date fell due around Xmas when many services weren't interested.
He filled out the majority of the bank paperwork and followed it up with conveyancers, banks and agents to ensure it met the due date.

Matthew went beyond the call of duty to get us across the line in borrowing for a new house without first having to sell our original home. He thought creatively about what would work in our situation and was able to make things happen, even though others had said it might not be possible. He was thorough, prompt, highly communicative and accessible, even calling after the two settlements to see how things had gone and again later to check we had sorted things out with our new banking arrangements and line of credit. He met with us twice at convenient locations so we didn't have to drive to his office and he was able to help sort out an issue with the conveyancer/bank at one point in the process. I was in the process of purchasing an investment property and was completely let down by my bank at the time right at the end of cooling off. This left my in a bit of a predicament and not a lot of time to get my finances sorted for the new purchase. One phone call to Matt explaining the situation and he was on to it. The time frame that was given to him was small to say the least and a lesser person would not even have attempted to meet the goals that were put in front of him.
