A recent Domain Liveable Suburb report has just sited Lavender Bay as Sydney's most liveable suburb with Milson's Point and McMahon's Point coming close behind.
The top 10 list was compiled based on sixteen markers of 'liveability', which assess the general qualities of a place that make it agreeable to live in.
As well as looking at, schools, open spaces, cafes and restaurants, tree coverage, employment, retail, proximity to beaches and access to public transport the markers also included crime rate, congestion and access to digital connectivity.
Apparently other suburbs such as Parramatta and Liverpool rated highly in some instances as very liveable, particularly when it comes to open spaces and entertainment.
