The Cronulla Sharks are upgraders in every way as we fast approach the end of the 2016 season.
Their mighty 16-game unbeaten romp to Sunday’s grand final has triggered a wave of Shire pride and let’s face it, fans have been very patient.
An awesome 37,000 people packed ANZ stadium to witness the team dazzle in the final qualifier against the cowboys and crowds at Shark Park have surged as their heroic journey took them closer to the big event.
Of course winning is the main aim on the weekend but speculation is already rife that should Paul Gallen get the opportunity, there will be one Sharks fan in particular whose ear he will want - Federal Treasurer Scott Morrison.
Because like the Cowboys before them last year, the Sharks need a venue upgrade.
Club officials feel that there is still a need for great suburban venues in the game and while they hope to maintain the family friendly and much loved ‘Hill’, they hope to upgrade and expand the Monty Porter Stand and build a centre of excellence within the main western ET grandstand, which is projected to be extended on each wing to span the length of the field.
From Gallen’s lips to the Treasurer’s ears.
In the meantime either in commiseration or celebration, it’s time to kick your own renovation / upgrading goals.
Come and see Nathan Smith or Peter Johnson and look at your financial options. Book a complimentary appointment with Ciaran Davis or Kurt Prebble and discuss your cashflows and protection.
