After leaving University in 2002, I established from ground up a successful cold storage and logistics business. I gradually built this up to owning and operating a fleet of 10 trucks and nearly 20 staff members.
Property is an area where I have always had a keen interest so have embarked on the new challenge and journey of purchasing a Mortgage Choice franchise, and commenced working as a Mortgage Broker.
Some of the key skills and expertise I can apply from my previous business ownership are as follow:
- To set up my business I had to borrow lots of money so I have been in my customers shoes
- Building strong customer relationships
- Guiding my customers from start to finish through the entire process
- Treat each customer as if they are my only customer
- Strong numeracy skills
- Financing commercial loans and home loans
