Pre-approval: What is it and What's involved?

Be aware of online approvals, they are an indication only!  It means you meet the required parameters for the loan - not that you are pre-approved.

The process of pre-approval might seem complicated but when you work with an experienced mortgage broker, it's simple and fast.  As a broker, our job is to get you approved with a lender to spend up to a certain amount of money.

We'll go through the full application process, lodge all the supporting documentation on your behalf, so that when you find a property you want to buy, all that's left to do is get a bank evaluation.  From getting your formal pre-approval, you usually have 90 days to find a property before your pre-approval expires.  You can apply for an extension if you need one.

Remember - if you haven't got a letter from a lender that states they've assessed your application, you haven't got the pre-approval.

If you're ready to start the pre-approval process get in touch with us today - we'll make it a stress free experience.

At Scott Partridge Mortgage Choice we provide expert mortgage advice to help you with these decisions, provide you with options and guidance allowing you to make an informed decision.
