Is owning your own home more important to you than getting married and having children? It’s a bit like the question, “Did the chicken come before the egg?”
A question such as this can spark all kinds of discussions around the bbq and coffee lounge!
Seriously though, according to an article I read recently in “Your investment property”, (who based their information on a Home Ownership Report from Westpac) Australians are placing home ownership at the top of their priority list, above having children or getting married.
The article prompted this topic as my next blog, because in our business of helping people achieve the goal of owning their own home sooner, even though we’d like that to be everyone’s top priority, we come across so many different people, with totally different scenario’s and goals, every day, and I can’t say that we see a clear, common theme that supports this theory. It seemed too generalised for my liking.
So I thought I’d put it out there….what do you think?
Is owing your own home a priority above getting married and having children?
Here's the link to the article:
So what now? If you have the goal of owning your own home on your list, top or bottom, middle, start, end, wherever…. give us a call, we know all about that side of the coin, and will make it our priority for you, whenever the timing suits you best!
