Mortgage Choice Newtown has been shortlisted as a finalist to win 2 of the state-based Best Branded Office and Best Community Engagement Program awards at the 2016 Better Business Awards, hosted by The Adviser, Australia’s top publication for mortgage and finance brokers.
Now in its third consecutive year, the Better Business Awards forms part of the award-winning Better Business Summit, named Business Event of the Year at both the 2015 and 2014 Publish Awards (previously the Publishers Australia Excellence Awards).
Jim Hall, head of mortgages and real estate at Sterling Publishing – publisher of The Adviser – said The Awards present a unique opportunity for brokers, lenders and aggregators to build their profile within the industry and for the general public.
“We know that the key to successful broking is building up a local presence. The Better Business Awards provides a unique opportunity to do just this as it celebrates the top performers in each state, as well as those making a genuine difference in their local market,” he said.
Owun Taylor & Suzanne Taylor, both Owner Partners at Mortgage Choice Newtown say they are humbled by the nomination.
“That Mortgage Choice Newtown has been recognised for its excellent contribution to the Newtown community reinforces the strength of the brand in connecting with the community, and engaging with its customers,” they added.
The winner will be announced at the state awards dinner in Sydney - 3 March.
