A straightforward process as always with the Peregian Beach team. The initial brokerage experience 2 years ago was flawless, but their aftercare whilst assisting us with the transition from a fixed rate of 2.34 to the current variable is truely above and beyond.
Our bank presented us with a variable rate offer that wasnt at all competitive in the current market. Unfortunately we were in a situation where we could not refinance unless we paid LMI for a second time, so Gordon and Mallory called our bank to reprice the rate on our behalf and took our case all the way to the State level.
Their hard work paid off, and in the end they were able to score us a rate that was in line with some of lowest refinance possibilities - but without the paperwork hassle or payment of a second LMI

We met Gordy one and half years ago. We told Gordy that we wanted an acreage blockdream home. Gordy set up a meeting with us and directed the steps that we had to take to own a house. He explained everything so we really understand what we had to prepare in order to get a good borrowing power. My partner is a a business owner so it was a struggle to get our home. We followed Gordys advice and sticked with his plan to own a home One and half year later, we contacted and told him what we had done to buy a home in Sunshine Coast. We are based in Sydney -Gordon and his team were recommended to us by a close friend after being told by our original mortgage broker pre approval would take at least 3 weeks to secure. Gordon organised an online meeting with us, explained the process, sent the necessary documents to be completed and we were successful with pre approval in 3 days.
The Morgage Choice team were accessible via phone email whenever we needed them. Saw the Peregian Team recently and they were all lovely, from the lady's at reception Ruby Chloe to Gordon the advisor.
We had an unexpected tag along with our 10month old, who I had to collect just prior to our appointment, and Gordon made us feel so comfortable, even when he was chatting and wiggling away on our laps.
Gordon was also very honest and transparent, providing valid information that was relative to our current living situation.

Gordon was recommended as the best in the business and this was most certainly our experience. My circumstances were slightly unusual with dual income from salary and ABN. I also had an owner finance block of land that needed to all be packaged up. Gordon and his team invested their time and energy into making this happen for us which was not an easy task and very time consuming and tricky. He explored all options for us in great detail then gave us the confidence to move to a pre-approval contract, then pushing through the final approval even over the Christmas new year period which is traditionally slow.
Overall a 5 star experience with a 5 star result. My next review will be for the investment properties .

Why didnt I call these guys first Wasted precious weeks speaking with another mortgage broker and our bank directly. After talking with several different brokers and direct with banks and being told different information and that we were not eligible for a home loan, we came and saw Gordon and he cut through all the BS and ended up getting us a home loan with a bank i was told earlier by their home loan specialist that we couldn't get one. We had a pre-approval in place for an investment property. Once we found a property and signed a contract our bank said they now couldn't do investment mortgages. We contacted Larissa in a panic and she was able to get us an approval in less than 2 weeks with a different bank.
