After being stuck in a terrible home loan rate that kept escalating peaking to 6.95, I then endured no satisfaction trying to refinance - until my brother told met to approach Renee Polden at Mortgage Choice Robina. And thank goodness I did. Communication was right on and in a short period of time I was overwhelmed when Renee called me Friday 20223 to advise Macquarie Bank had approved my application to refinance. Interest rate 4.79 may go up slightly prior to settlement and with the current uncertainty with RBA which is an absolute massive saving every month. Alongside Renee is Angela who has been keeping me updated with any progress. And I'm certain the team at Robina Mortgage Choice are just as super. No question has ever been too much to ask and their rapid response to emails is second to none. Best customer service I have ever experienced and cannot recommend Renee and her team enough. If you are suffering like I was, do yourself a favour and get on the phone and call them.

Ours was a little bit of an out of the ordinary situation. Several borrowers involved, papers to be signed but one of the signatories was overseas, one party and the property in QLD the others in Sydney...and more. The skills, knowledge, warmth and flexibility of the MC Robina team are outstanding. They helped me secure a loan for a property after I delayed for some time. Even when a staff member had some personal problems due to flooding, they still worked hard with the bank and myself to ensure my loan went forward, meeting all my requirements. They then followed up with the bank and provided information to me in a way I could easily understand. They were always available if I had any questions.

The Bank seemed to be overwhelmed which caused delays and problems with our approval.
Thomas continually followed up to ensure a safe passage of our approval despite sometimes being on telephone hold for an hour and a half at a time.

Renee took late night calls and was working on our finance outside business hours to make sure we met our finance deadline. After being over-charged in interest for several years by my long term bank, a friend suggested I shop around for a new mortgage. Having a reasonable income I thought it would be relatively easy to find a new lender. However after my first try through one of the larger brokers in Aussie, I was surprised that 1-year remaining on my car loan precluded me from re-mortgaging. After a bit more searching I decided to try Mortgage Choice as they were local.
As soon as I walked into the office I suspected my luck would change – the staff were so friendly. Shortly after I had a new mortgage and am now paying $500/month less in interest. There was some initial paper work, but after this the entire process was just so easy and plain sailing. It’s so hard to find service like this anymore, and we are definitely a much happier family.

We cannot speak highly enough of these ladies. I called Renee when my current bank were just not fast enough getting my finance over the line. Renee had our approval done in just a day and we had a very complicated contract that was subject to our house selling and then the purchaser's house also selling. Our current bank were very difficult to liaise with and pretty much told us that the contract was too difficult until it became unconditional. But it was no problem for Renee and our mortgage process has been a breeze.

We were purchasing some properties over the Christmas period, and Renee was all over the options. She must have come back to us with three or four different choices, but also worked out our finance balances to allow us to potentially borrow against one of the properties in the future. She was also aware that one of the options she provided might have been too slow to be ready by settlement dates. She knows her stuff inside out.
The thing is, I can't just review Mortgage Choice here, without going into the kind of Dream Team they have working with them. As an interstate investor, one of their team, Vicki, was unbelievably helpful in highlighting areas we might like to look at. Her advice was brilliant, and if you are looking for an investment, talk to her, she's all over it I believe she is writing an e book on investing. I'd buy it.
They also put me in contact with a Real Estate Agent who works tirelessly and tenaciously. Lise Vasilouu at Ray White Redbank Plains is an utter treasure. She gave great advice, argued on our behalf when it came to putting in offers and got us some pretty sweet deals.
As if all of that was not enough, they also put me in contact with a brilliant and on the ball lawyer, who does not charge a million dollars per phone call, and who is a strong negotiator. Michelle Amalla at Crown Legal Services. Yet another individual who I can't rate highly enough. There were a couple of times she refused to settle because of things lacking on the vendor's side.
These people all work so well together, you'd be crazy not to pick the lot of them up as a package and let them run with it. They will have your back.
