Mortgage Choice at Gymea have won a number of external customer service awards over the years (Sutherland Shire Small Business Awards for Professional Services, and finalists in both the Engadine & Gymea Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards again in 2007). These aren't industry awards given to the best salesperson, rather customer service driven awards voted for by our clients and the community. We are very proud of these achievements.
Team Profiles
Ben Herden
Ben joined Mortgage Choice in May of 1999 and is the Principal of Mortgage Choice at Gymea. Previously Ben spent 5 years working at ANZ in various lending roles. Ben and his family live locally in Cronulla.
Bens background is in home and commercial lending. He spent the first 5 years after University (B.A.) in various lending roles within the ANZ Bank, including Lending Manager at 2 busy city branches.
Ben bought his first Mortgage Choice franchise in May 1999, quickly moving into a shared office in Caringbah before moving to his own office in Engadine. In April 2008 we moved to Gymea, the centre of the Sutherland Shire.

Shara Nugent
Shara has worked within the finance industry all over the world for almost 11 years, and brings with her vast lending experience and a marketing background. Shara won the State's "Best Loan Writer" award in November 2008 and September 2009 and continues to deliver fantastic customer service and expert advice.
Shara has worked with Mortgage Choice since April 2006. Previous to joining Ben and his team Shara worked at Community First Credit Union and Select Credit Union in both Mortgage and Personal lending before moving into a Marketing role. She moved to Mortgage Choice to go back to what she loved which was Mortgages. Previous to this Shara worked in the UK for 2 years in a variety of finance roles.

Josephine Pavokovic
Josephine Pavokovic has 25 years experience in and around the home loan industry and has been an integral part of the team for over 6 years. You will be dealing with Josephine a lot - she keeps everything on track for you and your lender!
Michele A Hutchen
Michele Hutchen started with us in April 2010 after working with another Mortgage Choice office for 10 years. She brings with her 29 years banking experience.
Michele has several Mortgage Choice Awards under her belt including Loans Consultant of the quarter May 2009 and finalist for Loans consultant of the year at the 2010 National conference.
Previous to joining Mortgage Choice Michele worked at St George Bank and Westpac Bank in both Mortgage & Personal Lending.
Michele enjoys working with all her clients to help them realise their dream of owning their own home or Investment property.
