As a first home buyer anxiously navigating a whole new world, Rob was a wonderful guide through the process from start to end. Very attentive and aware of the information overload that I was having, but took the time to explain everything in many cases, multiple times.

We had a very stressful application with mortgage choice and NAB and our settlement was pushed back twice. We werent told about some vital paperwork that we needed until the week of settlement, that could have been organised a month earlier. There were a few forms that no one could tell us if we need a conveyancer for or not, again delaying settlement.
I believe some issues were due to the bank, but over all a very stressful experience from both bank and mortgage choice.
Cheryl was fabulous though, and communicated with us through the whole drama and worked tirelessly to get us answers.
My partner and I purchased our first home in July this year all thanks to Rhonda and Cheryl from Mortgage choice, they helped us at every stage, with every question and remained patient with us while we wrapped our heads around this massive process. I spoke with Rhonda when I was first starting out saving for a home, and she gladly walked me through the process, answered all my questions, and pointed me in the right direction to save my deposit.
Once my deposit was saved several years later, Rhonda helpfully explained all of the government schemes available for first home buyers, and always had quick responses to my many questions.
The application process was streamlined thanks to the efforts of Rhonda and she made it much less overwhelming than what I thought it would be.

We had Andy Manual as our main contact with Mortgage Choice. The first time we met him in our home, he was so easy to talk to and answered all our questions. Our loan took a bit of time but Andy was always ontop of the status and let us know where it was at no matter if it was a weekday or weekend. Once we found the house to buy, Andy again was always ontop of the latest stage we needed to be at and advised what to do. I had been bankrupt and I hadn’t even tried going to the banks as I wasn’t confident I would get a loan. I thought it would be best to talk to a mortgage broker. When I first called Mortgage Choice in Blaxland, I didn’t expect them to be able to help me as I’d been bankrupt. They never said anything was too hard, it was the complete opposite. House hunting is fun until it gets to the business of borrowing, especially if you are a small business client. We often dont fit into the simple, steady wage earner lending profiles. You can have big collateral, the banks want to see regular cash flow or serviceability Hmm
The current market is tight, real estate values dropping and it seems banks are ultra cautious. The team at Mortgage Choice worked hard to find a boutique lender who took a punt and we got pre-approval. With this in place we could house hunt in earnest
Found the right house, well within our borrowing budget but the boutique lender seemed to be taking their sweet time with valuations and unconditional approval despite the urging of our broker.
Rob kept assuring us that this pattern had been emerging and not to worry. He also was professionally working and guiding us for a better facility, with a mainstream lender, that could be accessible once we had our 2018 financials in place. There were plenty of calls prior EOFY to make sure our results all met the new lender criteria. It was a team effort with our broker and accountants. It all seemed do-able. Hmm heres hoping

The team at Blaxland are fantastic. The help they have given me not just this time but previous times before has made everything so much easier. Every question was answered that I had and if they weren't available when I rang they would get back to me straight away. I wouldn't use anyone else, only Rob and his amazing team.
We recently made the decision to upgrade our first home to a larger property. We had a property in mind, and needed to know if it was feasible. After initially contacting the mortgage broker we used in our first purchase with no response, we called Rob Lees. Thank goodness we did. Rob promptly returned our call and within a very short period we knew where we stood, what we could spend and how it would affect our current mortgage. Our original mortgage was a little trickier than your standard arrangement, but this did not faze Rob.
