Instead of rushing into finding a loan that isn't quite right, I take the time to understand how your business operates and what your end goal is. Only then can I find a great finance option to suit you and your business. I have spent many years working with all types of regional businesses, from agribusinesses to cafes and everything in between. There isn't much I haven't seen!
My experience in small business finance:
- I started at a major bank working across the Retail and Business Banking sector, lending to individual small businesses and primary producers. I worked with lots of different businesses with both simple and complex structures.
- I became a Rural Counsellor at the Rural Financial Counselling Service of NSW, where I supported business clients build their financial literacy, identify short and long-term goals and put action plans in place.
- A career highlight was building and implementing a program called REWiRE, which went on to assist 500 regionally owned and operated small businesses across Australia, that were experiencing financial hardship.
