We loved that Ray was flexible with meeting times. He visited us at our home after hours to fit in with our work commitments and busy lifestyle. This was truly appreciated, especially as we both work and have two young children to care for. Ray also hand delivered our documents which we thought added that personal touch to the service.

Ray is fantastic at putting stressed out minds to rest knowing that everything will happen as he says it will happen. Ray was contactable day and night and even on weekends, which meant that we got the loan and the house because answers were flowing whenever we needed to call. Ray worked tirelessly against very challenging and particular circumstances in our case, yet he pulled together a loan with all the amounts and features that we asked for in the right time frame. We can't recommend Ray highly enough to anyone looking for a home loan. We tried going directly to two main banks at the same time as Ray, but Ray was much faster, flexible and far more contactable than any bank could hope to be. Ray really is the best person to deal with hands down.
Ray has been amazing to deal with yet again this time for an investment property purchase. He is always available and responds to calls, emails texts in a timely manner. He went out of his way when assisting us at the 11th hour to sign our finance documents when a JP was required. We've worked with Ray for many years now and have recommended him to many of our friends who have signed up with Ray and then also recommended him. A pleasure to deal with!!!
Ray achieved a excellent interest rate which surprise the banks staff when I had to sign some paper work. I did not have to deal with the banks convoluted forms. He also dealt with a few legal issues working in with my solicitor, He negotiated all the perils of real estate acquisition and answered all my question without having to consult my very exspensive legal team.
Ray is a great broker who we have trusted for years even without hair he is a beautiful man.
Ray was fantastic, the thing I liked most is that he was always contactable (even when on leave) and answered any question that I asked. I'm the type of person who wants all the detail, Ray was happy to answer anything and extremely patient.

I have had previous experiences with brokers but Ray Khalil is one of the best and I would highly recommended him to anyone and I already have he was constantly in contact with me and still is, and gives us bank updates all the time and really looked after us well

Ray is an old friend, but he still provided great service. This was our first house purchase, so it was great to have someone patiently guide us through the process of buying a hosue and borrowing step by step.

Ray is an outstanding member and asset to your business. He always keep us well informed with new offers from various lenders and help us decide whom fitted us best. We were kept well informed from start to finish. Not only did we refinance, but we also purchase a new property and had simultaneous settlements. As a first time home buyer it is easy to become overwhelmed, and throughout this time Ray was excellent at providing us with any information we required. I contacted Ray after he was highly recommended from a colleague, and from the start he was always available when required. As such I would also pass on the recommendation. Ray is my first point of contact for future home/investment loans.

2nd time using mrtgage adviser. My 1st attempt some years ago using another companpy was a total diaster, the person did not know the products etc. I did not go ahead with this other company & broker. This 2nd time around was great. I had stupidly exchanged contracts without applying for a loan 1st, then tried myself to secure a loan. I decided that maybe I just might need some help that's when I contacted Ray at Smartline. Ray was very quick to meet me at my home in Wangi Wangi. He was very quick & efficient, appeared to know what he was doing, which made me feel confident and more importantly delivered. I got the loan I needed, in the time frame, namely exchanged on 22/11/11 settled on 22/12/11. That's right a loan in approx. 3 weeks. I can't tell you how happy I am with with Ray & Smartline.

Ray showed excellence customer focus and was professional in his work . Ray also attended the bank with me to finalise the loan and any outstanding issues. May I also say that I did consult Ray recently on another investment property that I was looking at and he provided excellent advise which identified pitfalls with the property which I am thankfull of. This indicated to me that he was not just interested in securring another loan but rather my interest as well.

I don't know if this will add any value but I was just very pleased with how Ray chased and chased everyone involved, including solicitors, to get my loan across the line. If it wasn't for the banks your job would be a whole lot easier as they must have organised their work proceedures after watching a Monty Python skit or an episode from the 'Yes Minister'series.

Often the bank was difficult and some of the transfer arrangements, re-paper work was messy. The change over was time consuming and could have been smoother, the banks mainly.
