This is my 4th mortgage with Alex and numerous refinances over the years. He is always patient and helpful with questions on a timely basis. I feel comfortable he is there to assist me whenever i require.
Alex has shown his in depth knowledges of the different home loans. He had recommended the best in the market for me to choose from. Even though the settlement took longer time than it should, but he has been keeping me up-to-date to the progress. I am grateful to have him introduced to me as the mortgage adviser!

I have always been reluctant to go to a Mortgage Broker as I didn't see any value. Boy was I wrong and was made to eat my words. I have always dealt directly with the banks for my mortgage needs and thought it would be a seamless process with my construction loan. After almost 3 months of one stuff up after the other, I was at my wits end. How can it take so long and be so difficult? I was recommended to go to Alex Woo and reluctantly did .... best decision ever. In a matter of weeks, I was able to get the right loan, on much better rates and Alex and his team took away all the stress. What a pleasure to deal with and will always go to Alex for all my mortgage needs going forward.

Alex was incredibly attentive from the very first call I made to him. He was recommended to me by a family member, who assured me I would be thrilled with his help, which I was. I couldn’t believe how flexible he was with me living in Wagga while he was based in Sydney but the process felt easy and I felt supported every step of the way.

What I really like about Alex is that he offers topline quotes quickly so you have the requisite info you need to make purchasing decisions quickly. Alex initially came recommended via my brother in-law. I am happy to set Alex met with the expectations set by my brother in-law.
Alex Woo was recommended to use by my financial adviser. To be frank we had a very bad experience with a mortgage broker when we build our first house which both my wife and I were not willing to go through again. Alex was patient willing to talk us through with no pressure just support which also included ongoing check ups and thank yous. As a result we have return to him 2yrs later happy to find that he was able to see what our goals were and has helped us say many $1000s in our current refinance. Alex Woo and Heather Williams looked after our loan. This is our second loan organised by Alex and Heather at Smartline. Our time line was tight purchasing within our superannuation fund and having various compliance issues. Both Alex and Heather are very knowledgeable and pulled out all the stops to get the loan through on time, including driving out one evening to get all the documents signed and scanning them in the evening to St George. Post loan they were helpful in ensuring cheque books and simple things were taken care of. We are return customers and have no hesitation in recommending both Alex and Heather. Alex Woo has looked after me for the past 5 years for both my new home purchase. He is brilliant and makes everything happen so quickly and seamlessly. Alex was great at negotiating us a good interest rate and terms. He was also flexible when we wanted to change and explore fixed/ variable options. It was not any easy brief as I was on maternity leave. there was a delay in arranging a valuation, which had us worried as we had a short settlement and were worried we would delay settlement. Once Alex knew we were worried he contacted the bank to hurry them up and bring forward valuation.
Alex was excellent throughout the whole process, from the initial consultation he was very informative and resourceful. Even though there were difficulties and a few other advisers have given up Alex applied himself and explored other avenues. My advisor was Alison Cooper - this is not listed for me to select. The initial process was great - information was provided very quickly every time I sent an email. Various options were given for me. Loan process was done very quickly but once this was done the level of service dropped off - once the deal was done / contract was limited even though I had not collected the car. More information came from the broker who recommended this service - than Smartline. I have had questions about the loan after everything was completed - and these questions took a week to be answered which was not my previous experience. This would colour whether I recommended this service to others. thank you for your time. Kylie

Good service and good advice
10 out of 10 in terms of service, responsiveness,follow up and research provided. Smartlineportfolio of lenders are not as big as say Mortgage Choice, so whilst we received the best advice to choose from Smartline's portfolio of lenders, there are other Credit Union/ Building society who have better home loan rates - but who are not in the panel of lenders.
