Sam Neville assisted me to ensure my finances were in order to secure my firstonly home during a tricky time in the housing market. She was on the ball when it came time to refinance, found an option that suited me and ensured the process was a relatively easy experience on my end which means I'm sure a lot of work was being put in behind the scenes. She and other team members kept me updated every step of the way in a timely manner which ensured there were no major surprises.

Only comment is that Smart Conveyancing were recommended to me by smartline however found their communication, organisation and support quite poor. For example my emails were constantly getting lost and not responded to.
For this reason the recommendation did not live up to my expectations.

I originally approached CBA direct regarding preapproval and was told to come back in 6mths as I was on probation at work (having just returned from the UK and started a new job) Despite having decent deposit, savings history and work references. A friend suggested I speak to Cathy, I saw her the following week. TWO DAYS after that, she confirmed my preapproval - with CBA!!! I wasn't advised what my repayments were by citibank. This is unusual as Nab and BankSA always told me up front so there were no surprises or risk of overdrawing. They are slo at sending paperwork.

We really loved the bubblyness from Cathy and the team. i'm sure they had a lot of work going on, and phone calls all the time, but we never felt as if we were a hassel. because we live in a different state all our correstpondance was either emails or over the phone, i never got the impresion i was "just another customer", it felt like they really new who were were.

Every contact we have had with Smartline has been professional, efficient and easy. We loved that both Cathy and her colleague were able to come to our house on three different occasions as it is difficult for us to get to the office with four small children and work commitments.
Unfortunately Cathy went on holiday just as we got properly started with the loan applictaion, therefore had to deal with her colleagues, who to be honest had a pretty shaky start but receovered well. Would have liked to have seen a clearer handover of details when Cathy went on holiday as her staff did not seem to be aware of discussions we had had with Cathy and as a result initially submitted a loan application which was accepted but only on condition of deposit terms we could not meet.
