As a mortgage broker, Laurice’s priorities are to always put her client’s best interests front and centre, and to help them achieve their financial goals.
“Providing great friendly service is about being a good listener, offering upfront and honest lending advice, and ensuring I find a suitable loan for each clients’ unique needs and objectives,” she says.
Laurice has worked in the lending industry since 2012 and understands that applying for finance can be a stressful and daunting time for borrowers. She counters this by being reliable and leading her clients through the mortgage process with care, making sure they understand exactly what’s happening and when. “By keeping in check with clients, I make sure it’s stress-free for them,” she says.
She has a sound knowledge of the various loan products and structures, as well as banking procedures and compliance. “I worked as a PA for two mortgage brokers for eight years, completing all the facets of mortgage broking from interviewing and completing and finalising loans,” Laurice explains. “I’ve been the compliance officer for these brokers for the past five years and with so much hands-on experience, I have a full understanding of all facets of lending.”
Laurice’s industry experience is complemented by her formal qualifications: a Diploma in Mortgage Broking and a Bachelor of Creative Industries – Advertising & Media. She is also a member of MFAA.
