Neil guided us wonderfully through this otherwise very stressful process of finding and financing a new home. His communication and his advice right from the start was superb. We could not have asked for a better person to help us with our loan.
Neil is outstanding. He took the time to clearly explain things and not cut corners. He didn't pressure us in any direction but provided solid advice on our situation with tangible options. He was available for any questions big and small. Additionally, he had excellent record keeping.

Neil has advised me regarding my loans for several years now, and I trust him to help me. On 2 occassions during the renewal of the loan process I had occassion to go in and see the bank at arana hills myself and also had to make a call to the homeloan centre with the CBA, on both occassions i received inaccurate advice and Neil was able to sort those matters out and re-assure me and have it corrected immediately. I do recommend Neil to my friends because I believe he does have his clients best interests in mind when working with them.

I talked to Neil and I talked to my bank. Neil accurately assessed my situation and explained things in a way that made me feel that what I was considering was actually possible. I also did due diligence and sought information from other sources. One provider was my bank (the lender I eventually received the loan from), they left me feeling confused and that it was not possible. Neil made the whole process easy, convenient and enjoyable.

hi i would like to say dealing smartline personal mortgage adviser Neil Bradford has always been a pleasure,over the years neil has always found the right home loan to suit our requirements. i like the out of hours service that neil has always provided for us, we like most people have a busy schedule and find it difficult to get to a bank or mortgage brokers office. smartline customer service has gone above and beyond all expectations and will always be happy to do buisness again. kind regards shane and anita bradford
I loved the fact that my adviser came to the house to discuss my loan and really kept me informed with how everything was going.It was a very easy process and I believe it will save me a lot of money in the future.So thank you Neil you did a great job.
I feel Neil certainly was generous with his time and helped me acheive my goal of owning my own home.
I was financing the purchase of land, and the construction of a house. My loan application lasted approx 18 months from start to finish, with a application switch (one bank guarantor loan to a different bank non-guarantor loan) in between. Neil was very helpful and understanding of our situation, and was readily available to answer all of my questions along the way.
Brendan and I felt Neil pushed Commonwealth's product. We understand that product was apparently the only one available on the market to suit our particular situation but we did not want to go with a big bank. We were happy with our current bank and are happy with the result we achieved. In the first instance, we received incorrect docs from the bank which I felt we should not sign and queried Neil. Neil emailed back a week later saying he had spoken with the bank and they had said it was ok to sign the docs. I refuse to sign incorrect docs as I have worked in the legal industry before and know the importance of correct documentation. When I sent Neil an email asking for the name of the person at the bank who had said that we could sign incorrect docs amongst other things (as I had intended to contact the bank about that person) I did not receive the name but was told the docs would be reissued. That email I sent to Neil also gave a solution that the Bank could provide us with a letter on letterhead authorising us to sign incorrect docs but the letter also had to include the correct details of the loan as well as other things. I could not believe we had been told it was ok to sign incorrect docs with nothing in writing and am disappointed my mortgage broker would advise me to do so. The second set of docs also had some errors that would need to be fixed in order for them to be lodged at the Titles Office. When we discussed these with Neil it was agreed I would ring the Bank and advise them of the errors. When I rang the Bank the next day Neil had already spoken with them. I had not mentioned a minor error to Neil but because it had been agreed that I would ring the Bank I was going to mention it to the Bank at that time. When Cherise received a telephone call from Neil saying settlement was ready to go but it was her solicitor holding up settlement, she immediately rang her solicitor. Her solicitor advised it was actually the Commonwealth Bank holding up the release settlement and they would follow it up with Commonwealth as we wanted settlement to go through as soon as possible. We felt that having had worked at Commonwealth Bank Neil tried to promote them and perhaps protect them as well. Neil was however always contactable and generally responded promptly to email communication (I never had cause to ring him). He was also cheerful in his demeanour. It is mainly because we were told to sign incorrect docs I would not recommend him as a mortgage broker.
