When Nicole and I first met in 2018 I was living in a double income household with great prospects.
When we reconnected again in Oct 2020 during the peak of the COVID pandemic I was transitioning from Sydney to Brisbane and my situation has changed dramatically.
At that time, I had fluctuating work hours, was a single parent of two boys and completely uprooted as I was living in an Airbnb at a border town, hoping for the boarders to open so I can join my extended family in Brisbane.
To say things were challenging is an understatement.

If you’re a small business owner looking to refinance your mortgage, you probably know it is a bit of a nightmare after the Royal Commission. Luckily we had Nicole to help us work it all through step by step and now we have the loan we wanted.
We needed a small increase in our mortgage for a little reno. With over 70% equity in our home and no missed payments in 20 years, a small extra on the loan would be easy, right? Wrong! We’re small business owners - and it turns out all the big banks have decided to squirrel away the profit upside of their government guarantees but pull back on any practical help for entrepreneurs.
We shook our heads for a bit then we called Nicole and James at Mortgage Choice. It was a good move. Now it still wasn’t easy but they helped us work out how to meet the needs of the banks. They found us the institutions that had realistic expectations for small business owners. Then they hunted around and found a loan we were happy with. The loan is now settled - and at a better rate than our old bank!

I recently needed to re-finance due to my upcoming renovation plans and spoke to Nicole after becoming frustrated dealing with my bank.
I contacted Nicole quite early in the renovation process and for months she researched the market products to find the best and most suitable loan for me.
