Shane is old school professional who delivers on his promises and find solutions when things don't go as planned. I have used him for nearly 27 years and would never go anywhere else.

My mortgage broker Shane was very contactable and made the process of getting my first home loan easy. He is also a great wealth of information and I would highly recommend him to anyone else .
Shane was a great help I reached out to a bank to get a home loan originally and was told I wouldn't be able to get a loan I then reached out or shane at smartline and was help greatly and moved into a home in less than 2 months
I have dealt with shane abbott a few times over 14 years and everytime he has always sorted out what i need as quickly as he can, he has never steered me in the wrong direction, I’m very thankful to have shane as my broker. Definitely recommend him to anyone

Shane is a great adviser and we have used his services several times. Only slight criticism/room for improvement might be to improve his email communication. He needs to slow down and actually read what he has written before sending emails as they often are confusing and/or contain grammatical or spelling errors.
I always feel that Shane explains everything really well and even if I don't understand he will explain it in a way so I do understand. He is very approachable and takes the time to listen and explains the very best options for my situation.

I tried to apply for a mortgage through a provider I held my current mortgage with. Although I had an excellent repayment history the application process was hard and it was long drawn and impersonal. I was so disgusted that I was about to withdraw my offer for the house I wanted to buy. Shane at Smartline was recommended and I ask for his assistance. The experience was exceptional. Shane made the process easy, and the outcome was a success.

Shane was absolutely amazing! We had no idea what we were doing and rushed into a house purchase. We then found a number of obstacles that could have halted the purchase - Shane expertly guided us around these and ensured we got a good loan package with low rates. He constantly kept on top of the progress of the purchase and kept us updated. We are now living in our dream home, and I'm not sure that would have happened without Shane's help!

We had issues during our experience and Shane meet them fully and went above and beyond to help us secure our loan and buy the house we really wanted. I would completely recommend him to anyone.
It took me 12 months to find the right property to purchase and Shane stayed in touch throughout this period. The loan was complicated in that the property was purchased for subdivision, then part of the property sold requiring re-mortgaging and further changes for construction purposes. Shane made himself available (even on holidays) to answer many queries from myself and the bank.
Shane assisted me with perfect financial advice to obtain the correct mortgage product for my needs during a very traumatic period in my life. His breadth, depth and underpinning knowledge of finance and friendly nature provided enormous assistance. Shane was excellent!!! I'm building for the first time and I've had plenty of dramas with both the developer and the builder. Shane understood that I'm a fifo worker and was always chasing things up for me and staying in constant contact with things like title release dates and delays. I really can't thank him enough for all of his support and advice. I do believe he went above and beyond what his job entitled to help me out. I could never thank him enough for how much he has helped.

As myself and my Husband had been trying for over 6 months to get a loan with all different Banks and companies we were starting to get worried that we would never get our own home again. Then we were recommend to speak to Shane Abbott by a friend that Shane had also just help get their home loan. When Shane meet us at our house he made us both feel at ease about the recent situation that we where in. Shane was upfront and straight forward with us and in some ways he put our minds at ease. Shane contacted me every time that he spoke with the bank and even found that the company before the mortgage Gallery hadn't even spoken or applied with the Bank (Westpac) about a home loan but had said that the bank refused us. Shane then applied for a home loan with Westpac and it was Approved straight away and there were no problems at all to get the loan. We are currently building or new family home and its all thanks to Shane Abbott as he took his time to look over all of my Husband's Business Book work and talk to us about things we needed to know and as able to answer any questions that we needed answered.
