They were able to guide us through the process of refinancing and applying for construction finance with ease. Compared to previous experiences with other brokers, Shannon and Simon are a stand out and I will be recommending them to friends, colleagues and family.
We did hit a few issues along the way with our loan but Shannon worked hard (even on weekends) to keep me informed. I also thought the process was a lengthy one but I don’t believe this was at Shannons end but at the banks end possibly due to a shortage of staff or increased loan requests.

Simon & the team at Smartline were fantastic and made re-financing my mortage easy. The advice and options provided were clear, well explained and the team were always available for clarifications or additional help. We had been struggling to get the banks to approve or not approve a loan and contacted Smartline out of frustration. Shannon met us very promptly and worked quickly to get an answer from a lender. The loan was with a major bank for four weeks and still hadn’t heard, Smartline turned us around in 3 days we had approval and could start looking for a house. What an absolute delight to deal with. My experience was very positive, however I did find that contacting Shannon was difficult and had to leave a number of voicemail messages without any response. This is my only suggestion for improvement. I could not fault anything else.

The help from Smart Line Simon and Jo was great, I would not and do not go else where, and do strongly recomend Simon and team to anyone who mentions finance because they make it so easy. This time, it did really drag out much longer than desired for several reasons, and I did find Galalee Solicitors a bit painfulin regards to allegeded unsigned copies of docs, which I believe where never originally sent, and method of posting them via a courier who does not deliver, where by Aust. Post is the better alternative for me. All said, still a good experience, and I still love your work.

I'd recommend Simon however I feel his admin team let him down. I was often repeating the same information to different people, there wasn't quality in the work (e.g. Mortgage advice was done 5 times before it was right), wasn't called when the mortgage settled (settled on Friday 2.45 and was called on Monday) etc. Everyone was friendly and contactable but just not as smooth a process as it could have been.
