Wayne wa fantastic. We were running to a very short schedule and he had the loan finalised in under a week (even compiling the application on a Sunday so it was ready to go Monday morning).

Although Wayne was terrific, I found the entire process long winded and laborious. I also requested increased loan repayments to commence with the redraw and this has still not happened.
Both my partner and I purchased a property each and used Smartline as our broker. While mine was a much simpler case and settled without issues, my partners had a major issue due to an oversight / misinformation at your end. It was not discovered until we were on a 4 week holiday overseas. The property could not settle in time and we were penalised as a result. You may wish to obtain feedback from my partner directly on his case.

Wayne was very easy to contact and always seemed to have our information at hand. He was very helpful in organizing paperwork and getting it all done. I'm not sure if there may have been a cheaper loan out there (I was told of one at St George the day mine was approved!) Also some details of the payment plan were a little unclear to us. Overall we found him very helpful

Process was a bit rushed and kind of backwards due me having found a property and wanting a loan (rather than getting a loan approved, then looking for a property). Wayne took it in stride, dealt with it well and answered all my questions with patience and clarity.

Wayne was fantastic helping to refinance our loans. The settlement process took a lot longer than necessary as the old and new banks were not really very helpful in resolving. Throughout Wayne and his team followed it through and kept us updated on progress
Great communication and were very flexible when we had a question or when we wanted a meeting. Only bad comment is that we were not given the option of many lenders.... but this may have been due to my partners work situation (contractor).
Wayne did a great job in 2009 providing options and refinancing an existing property and setting up a new loan on a new property. He also arranged a loan redraw this year. All our experiences with Wayne have been first class. I would have no hesitation recommending Wayne to borrowers.

This was a particulaly complex loan transaction involving guarantors, several parties and two banks. It required a fair bit of ringing around and following up by Smartline and Wayne and his assistant Heather were just relentless at pursing it. What was disappointing was the delay, which was entirely the fault of the commmonwealth bank. I suspect that delay would have been even longer if we had tried to do it ourselves and not used Wayne and Heather.
Wayne ensured that the whole process was as smooth as humanly possible. The level of service exceeded my expectations and helped take the worry out of the process.
