The Mortgage Choice Fortitude Valley under Caroline's leadership is the best one First, they are willing to listen to your needs, assess it, doing the financial figures before giving their best honest financial advise. Caroline will tell you straight in the face what you can or can't afford, not wasting time. I even tweak a couple times the purchase figures up or down, PI or interest only, variable or fix rates, there was no issues with Caroline and got the different financial scenarios emailed to me right away for me to review. She always willing to provide for the customers even doing this in midnight at times. The pre-approval process was seamless due to hardworking staff with customer focus and attention to details. After we have signed the contract of sale, it was all green light from there and Mortgage Choice Fortitude Valley was always there guiding us, constantly communicating, checking all statements and paper works were all in place until settlement day. There was no delay or hassle at all during the process. I would like to thank Caroline, Vicki, Michelle, Kristin and the whole team for the awesome service provided to us. Caroline was an absolute life saver. We had been messed around by another broker that had been recommended to us who basically abandoned us the day we signed a contract. So it was all a bit of a panic situation but Caroline and her team did a great job at saving the day. I only wished we'd spoken with her sooner and things would have gone smoothly. Kristin was also great to deal with throughout the journey.
This was our my wife and my first home purchase. Off and on over a period of about 3 years the team at Mortgage Choice helped us to navigate the lending market. They were super communicative, always ready to answer questions we had no matter how small or big they seemed to us. They helped us to choose a good lender and even advised a split-loan with one having redraw which was a fantastic idea. We would rate them 4.5 stars if we could. The only reason for half a star deduction is that occasionally there seemed to be a miscommunication between their team, e.g. things that had already been done or documents we had already sent that another asked for. None of these were show stoppers or caused any major problems though and I'm sure they have tons of customers they're working with at the same time so it's understandable. Thanks so much guys again for your help

Being first home buyers, we didnt really have much of an idea of the process to buy a house. Dealing with Caroline from Mortgage choice was simple and easy. Their online process was easy to navigate and very efficient. From the initial enquiry to settlement took about 6 weeks and I received regular emails and phone updates during the process. What made this even better is my salary is made up in foreign currency, tax free allowances in cash and overtime, some of which does not show on my payment summary allowing banks to question my take home income. 10 years ago I bought by first home in Ashgrove. Living in New Farm at the time, I just rang the local broker (what good fortune that it was Caroline's office). She made the process of buying our first home extremely easy.
Fast forward 10 years, and now living at the Sunshine Coast I knew who to call when we decided to purchase our second home. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but Caroline and her team take the extra steps to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
With an auction date already set, a seven day finance clause was stipulated by the sellers of my new property. Caroline and her team took this on, and made sure they did everything they could to ensure we secured the property within the 7 days, avoiding the need to go to an Auction, and giving us a beautiful family home on the Sunshine Coast.

My wife and I decided that we were ready to buy a home. We phoned our bank and their mobile lender came to see us. She gave us an indication of how much we could borrow and we thought we were ready to go.
Armed with this information, we went out and bought a house for an amount less than they’d told us.
We lodged the loan application with our bank and, to our surprise, we were knocked back. We were told that the bank would not lend us that amount, even though it was less than their mobile lender had indicated. This process took about four weeks, with no result and we were fearful of losing the house that we’d fallen in love with.
We then called Caroline Jean-Baptiste from Mortgage Choice Inner North Brisbane, who we’d met with a couple of years ago. We told her of our predicament and she came straight out to see us. She entered all our details into her software program and came up with a match. She'd found a lender who would loan us the amount we needed.
Within ten days of phoning Caroline we had an approved loan. Our situation had gone from almost hopeless and really stressful to a done deal. We had our finance. We could settle on our home and we were incredibly happy with Caroline’s service. She was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. She explained things in really simple terms so we could understand what the lender needed from us and she made it happen fast.
Caroline understands the system in ways we didn’t and she knows what each lender is looking for, and, for us, that was the difference between using a broker and going direct to our bank. She found the solution and made it work.
