I don’t think I’ve ever had such a positive experience in buying something as we did with our new house, thanks to Craig and his wealth of experience, generosity, and fatherly advice. Being expats who are also new to the housing market, we were pretty clueless about the process and Craig was always ready to give us honest advice that went far above & beyond what we’d expected.
From after-hours calls & meetings, to sending value assessments at all hours of night when we found houses of interest, to guidance in what type/location of houses to avoid, Craig was right there every step of the way, always friendly and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted to do.
Also, Craig’s attention to detail is impeccable - he effectively saved our settlement by catching things missed by the other parties which may have delayed the sale. If it weren’t for him, I don’t know where we’d be. I would earnestly recommend Craig & Smartline to anyone looking for personalised service for a home loan, especially if you are a newbie like us.

Craig is an absolute legend. As always, he exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to ensure our purchase settled on time. Even when the bank messed up our application and we had to resign 2 weeks from settlement, Craig met with us at our home to resign all the documents, and personally saw that they got back to the bank ahead of time. We have referred our family and friends to Craig on multiple occasions and he is able to look after them and their individual circumstances each time...we definitely wouldn't hesitate recommending Craig to anyone who needs his services.

Was fantastic with communication, checking along the way with how we were going and even after we'd settled - a quick check to ensure interest rates, repayments etc were correctly set up. What can I say about Craig? His service was above and beyond. From the moment I walked in the door and had my first meeting, Craig was down to Earth, extremely knowledgeable and extremely on the ball. I'm 23 and was trying to break into the housing market and had absolutely no real idea about what to do and how I could do it. Craig made what was initially just an enquiry about my options, a dream come true.
Throughout and after the process Craig regularly contacted me to see how things were going and to advise me on any queries I had. I even remember a short period where Craig was away on holidays and he still managed to assist me. Regularly responded to messages on weekends as well!

Before I contacted Craig, we had been to the bank 6 months prior to ask for some more money and they gave me the run around. I did everything they asked, only to be rejected. Craig has helped us in the past, so I left it in his hands and what do you know?

Craig's advice has been fantastic. As first home buyers Craig helped us to determine how much we could AFFORD to borrow, rather than how much the bank was willing to lend. He explained in plain English the loan product he recommended, and how we could use offset to our advantage. I have used Smartline (Craig McNeil) a few times now and am very happy with the service he has provided and have had friend'S and work colleagues use Craig/Smartline..It's like the loan would be for him self and not a stranger/customer.... Craig is allways there and more than happy to give advice all the way through the loan period.
Craig is efficient and got the job done. He made some slightly negative comments about my income which did not impress. He also said that things would not take as along as they actually did, but perhaps this is ANZ's problem.

I am unable to comment if the consultant helped us choose the right loan solution for our needs as we have only had the loan for a short time and are unable to measure if it's the correct loan.
