Paul Brooks was such an easy man to talk to, he helped me understand overwhelming things and took so much of his time to support me through a big life transition. Highly recommend.

Paul helped us get twice what we were offered by our bank with another loan provider, we took all our outstanding loans and started the new one on a much better deal. We did have issues with our new loan provider, Paul helped sort out the issues and we were even given a refund and an opology (that must be unheard of from a bank). We are happy with our new mortgage provider.
Paul was there for us right from the beginning of the process to the end and is still there with informative emails coming through even an email for my birthday(which I no is good marketing but it is also excellent customer service which I am big on) he was more than helpful I am not someone who makes decisions lightly . Paul answered all my questions I asked (I must have driven him crazy) his patience and professionalism never faltered . As I told ANZ I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and Smartline to others. Paul actually cared never hesitated answering his phone on the weekends and worked around us . Thankyou so much Paul.

The process to get the construction loan was very complicated and stressfull. I am not impressed with the CBA and the proceedures we have had to comply with. They have failed tp supply clear information about the loan and policy surrounding it. Paul has been exceptional in being the contact point between us and the bank to which i am extremely gratefull. After going through this process I doubt that we could have done this on our own, in fact I doubt whether anyone can. Paul (Smartline) has provided excellent service, there is no way we would have a construction loan without his help. We are now have our house underway and the construction loan has commenced, the CBA is still creating some issues (because of their lack of communication) and Paul is still sorting it out for us. Thank you so much.
Paul made this experience for me painless I was probably difficult for him at times however he continued to be supportive and changeable with my needs and my changeability. Some days i didn't know if I was Arthur or Marther if I wanted a house a unit 25ac or nothing and he just kept smiling and helping.

Paul was great . We work long days so Paul would come nights after work or meet us anytime that's suited us. Made life much easier as we would have taken time of work to deal directly with the bank.

I had a bit of trouble getting my refinance approved, due to the fact that I am a director in 2 companies and have a family trust and I got a ridiculous valuation that made it near impossible to get approved. Then bank wanted to know everything about anything. They wanted paperwork after paperwork. But through the whole process, Paul was always available to talk to. He was very helpful and went head to head with the bank to get me the loan. He showed them comparable sales that the valuer didnt even find. He went above and beyond what I ever expected, in a situation that was never easy. Without paul I Know I would not have got the new Loan. I recommended him to anyone who is willing to listen.

We were caught out by Bank West. As a result we had to rapidly find a further 10% after purchasing the property under Auction. Bank West in my opinion were rubbish and Paul should have organised a minimum of two lending institution options for rural land from the onset. However, in all other areas Paul was excellent.
Our advisor was excellent, was able to convience two banks that we were suitable candidates for a loan when originally we were knocked back by all of them due to my husband being a sole trader. I have and will continue to strongly recommend Paul to my friends and families, he has a lot of passion towards his work and knows his stuff.

I would recommend Paul and Smartline to anyone who is looking to refinance or purchase a property. From sitting down after hours and going through every avenue to get me across the line to coming to house inspections with me - Paul was very focused on finding me a loan that best suited me.
