Lauren Ferguson was our mortgage broker during 2023. At times she was assisted by Richard Ferguson. We found them to be effective, supportive and efficient. It was quite a slog looking for an entry level property while rates and prices kept rising, and sales volumes were super low, so it was great to have Lauren and Richard on our side I would recommend their help to anyone looking to make that massive step

I was referred to Richard by my colleague. Based on my dealings with him, I find Richard and Lauren, her daughter very professional and efficient. Their inputs were always invaluable and response is always prompt. Regardless whether its wee hours of the day, weekend or even when they are on vacation, they will see to it that items are addressed in a timely manner especially if the matter is urgent. Hard to get this kind of customer service nowadays.

Although I have never been through the entire process of refinancing with Richard he has twice helped me with options and information even though he has not made a fee from it. After shopping around Richards knowledge and great advice gave me and my partner the confidence to go with himself and Lauren for mortgage advice and how thankful we are that we chose them.

I cannot recommend Richard highly enough Richard worked tirelessly to recommend and ensure I got the best deal on my mortgages and left no stone unturned He made the whole process so simple he took the time to explain everything in terms I could understand and dealt with all the bank forms, follow ups and queries for me.
When it came to settlement, he made sure everything ran like clockwork. Chasing the bank sometimes several times daily, he helped me push my conveyancer along and ultimately helped me to settle on a property in 2 weeks

Richard's support throughout the process was appreciated, answering all our questions with the mantra 'there are no stupid questions' Was very transparent and gave us advice on the whole process of buying a property and what to look out for. Would recommend to others.
With the property prices in Sydney going up, the savage competition, and the lack of understanding of the home buying process contributed to a 4 year search for our first home. The easiest part of the whole thing was our finances. From the first time we contacted Richard from Mortgage Choice, he showed genuine concern for making sure we were taken care of. He laid everything out for us and explained what our situation was and where we stood and what we needed to be looking at in terms of the loan we were getting. Richard actually came to visit us and willingly offered his services even though we told him we are just getting in to the market and we were not sure if we even wanted to buy yet. He just wanted to help us and stuck with us for 4 years always willing to make a trip out to our place and give us an update as to where we were and what choice was best for us. When we finally found a place, Richard even filled in where our solicitor was lacking. His experience and knowledge was fantastic. He did way more than we can ever thank him for during the settlement period. Almost 6 months down the track Richard still checks in from time to time to touch base with us and see how things are going with our loan.
