Buying your first property - what you need to know first!

2. The next step is to get pre-approved for a mortgage. Before you start house hunting, it's a good idea to get pre-approval in place so that you can be confident when the time comes to submit an offer.
3. Once you've found a property you like, we would encourage you to organise a house evaluation & inspection of the property. In most situations, we will organise the evaluation however it's a good idea for you to organise a building and pest inspection. By doing this step, it will help you identify any potential issues with the property.
4. Once you've negotiated the price, it's time to organise the house settlement. This involves signing the necessary paperwork and paying for insurance, appraisal fees, and other charges.
