Why we love Kangaroo Point!
Kangaroo point which shares the same post code as East Brisbane is increasingly becoming an extension of our incredible city. It occupies a peninsular of land on the southern side of the Brisbane River and has magnificent views up the river to the CBD and down the river towards the beautiful cliffs on the New Farm side of the river. It’s the best place to experience the River Fire festival. Connected to the CBD by the beautiful Story Bridge and the new Kangaroo Point Green Bridge (currently under construction). Easy access to the Howard Smith Wharves precinct for dining and entertainment Kangaroo point is also a short cross river ferry ride away from the amazing restaurants and cafes in Newstead, not least of which is the Gas Works precinct. Home to lots of high-rise resort style unit complexes Kangaroo Point is an amazing suburb for young people. So close to everything you have the option of not owning a car. Kangaroo Point also has easy access to all the the CBD, South Bank and Fortitude Valley has to offer. Enough cant be said about the liveability of the Kangaroo Point/East Brisbane area.
