Woolloongabba which shares the same post code as Dutton Park is one of Brisbane’s inner most suburbs. The Brisbane Cricket Ground, commonly known as the Gabba, is a major sports stadium in Brisbane. The nickname Gabba derives from the suburb of Woolloongabba, in which it is located. Over the years, the Gabba has hosted athletics, Australian rules football, baseball, concerts, cricket, cycling, rugby league and rugby union. At present, it serves as the home ground for the Queensland Bulls in domestic cricket, the Brisbane Heat of the Big Bash League and Women's Big Bash League, and the Brisbane Lions of the Australian Football League. The Gabba will be the centrepiece of the 2032 Summer Olympics and will be upgraded for the games. Woolloongabba also boarders one of Brisbane’s biggest Private Hospitals. As an inner-city suburb and sports and entertainment hub Woolloongabba already has incredible transport options and one of the best restaurant and bar scenes in Brisbane and we can only see this improving in the next 10 years. Woolloongabba will be an amazing place to live over the next decade with all the change coming.
