New Government incentives now released for First Home Buyers
If you're in Victoria and looking to purchase a property up to the value of six hundred thousand the Victorian Government Abolished stamp duty altogether
No stamp duty for first homes up to $600k - that's right, they abolished it altogether, which means rather than having to save up for a 10% deposit all you need to do now in save a six percent deposit. Only a 6% deposit required
So if you've done that you are well on your way in purchasing your first property.
You may wish to purchase an off the plan property or buy a land and house package. First time home owner grants of $10k are available if you're building in the metropolitan area of Melbourne.
$10,000 if you are building in Melbourne Metro
If you are in regional areas that increases up to $20k
$20,000 if you are building in Regional Victoria
Ok, so you've got your deposit in place or saving up to get that six
percent deposit. You then need to come and see us to get a pre-approval - that is very, very important before you purchase your first property.
