I cannot rate Joanne highly enough. She has helped me secure six loans thus far and hopefully many more to come. She is clearly an expert and is an absolute delight to work with. You won't regret engaging her for all things mortgage related.

Joanne is without a doubt the best mortgage broker I have ever worked with and we have bought and sold a number of times. She is approachable, friendly and responsive - all things that are absolutely essential when going through the stressful home buying process.
I am a single parent, with several dependent children, and I was expecting my borrowing capacity to be fairly limited. Due to Joanne's relationships with the lenders, I was able to get a large loan - enough to purchase a home in a great area, with enough space and bedrooms for all my kids to have their own rooms, and close to family support. The approved loan was higher than all the online calculators predicted - without her work I wouldn't have been able to buy our dream place. And our interest rate is currently sitting around the 5 mark as of April 2023 - a very good rate for this time
The application process was unbelievably quick and easy. I contacted Joanne on Monday to ask for an assessment of my borrowing capacity - she got back to me with an approximate amount based on the info given by Tuesday morning, and I put an offer in on my place by Tuesday afternoon. The offer was accepted Wednesday, I got all the paperwork back to Joanne by Thursday....and I had an unconditional mortgage approved from my preferred lender before I left work on Friday - 24 hours from paperwork to mortgage has got to be some kind of record
I even asked Joanne to go back to the bank to ask if I could retain some of my savings thereby increasing the mortgage slightly and it was approved by the Tuesday
This is my second time working with Joanne as she helped my ex-husband and I with a loan on our previous home - also not an easy process as he was self-employed - and it was likewise an excellent result for us.

Specifically, Jo was able to provide us with a clear indication of which lenders would provide us with an LMI waiver. She was then able to provide us with a clear upper limit for our borrowing capacity which enabled us to have confidence when submitting offers - this limit proved accurate and we had a very smooth process of securing finance with Jo’s assistance. Even whilst finance was in the process of being approved both Jo and Kristin (mortgage choice loan processing manager) actively communicated with the bank to ensure we met our contractual obligations.
Overall, we could not be happier with the work Jo has done - she clearly takes great pride in both the quality and thoroughness of her work and as a prospective (and eventual) buyer this was incredibly reassuring as we navigated an unfamiliar process.

Kristin is also excellent at managing the processing of the loan. She kept me informed throughout the whole process, providing timely updates and clear communication the entire time.
Jo and Kristin are honestly amazing. Their commitment to their clients and communication is unrivalled and they always had the time to take my calls when I had questions around the process (even on settlement day).

I could not speak more highly of Jo. She was excellent to deal with and always available keeping me updated throughout the entire process. From the beginning, Jo was more than happy to calculate different lending scenarios for me, whilst I was still figuring out where I wanted to buy. Her knowledge of the lending process and products available made navigating my first purchase so simple and easy to understand. With Jo there was always a way around every single hurdle and she was highly efficient and meticulous throughout.
She provided very professional and friendly advice and went the extra mile to ensure the process ran very smoothly. When timeframes became very tight and a matter of urgency, she was so calm and reassuring and kept me in the loop every step of the way, ensuring no deadlines were missed. Kristin on the loan processing side of things was just as amazing and easy to deal with as well!

Jo was our mortgage broker who worked with us over the last couple of months to purchase our first property and I wish we could give more than 5 stars because she is so amazing! We feel so lucky to have had Jo on our team as newbies to the whole house buying process. From our first meeting we knew we were in such good hands throughout the pre-approval, formal approval and settlement stages. We were so impressed with her professionalism, expertise and willingness to go above and beyond the expected level of customer service - for example when our offer was accepted for the place that we would go on to eventually buy, our borrowing situation had changed since our initial pre-approval and we were stressed that this would impact obtaining formal approval from the lender. Jo answered all our questions and eased our concerns all the while this was after COB on a Friday and then she continued to work on our updated application over the weekend so that everything was ready to go by the Monday. We are so happy with our competitive interest rate which was thoroughly researched by Jo based on her exact understanding of what we were looking for.
We would also like to extend a massive thank you to Kristin McLeish (Loan Processing Manager) who was paramount in receiving formal approval and then ultimately the settlement. Kristin was super responsive to all of our queries and regularly provided updates and check-ins which was so appreciated especially as our chosen lender had been notoriously slow and unresponsive. Kristin put the pressure on them to ensure our timelines for the finance condition and settlement were met, I don't know what we would've done without her (we'd probably still be waiting for settlement!).
