I cannot speak highly of James Ly enough as my mortgage broker. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and explained a lot of things like loyalty tax to me that other brokers had not previously. I was also surprised to find that we were able to access exclusive lenders that only Mortgage Choice brokers had available through their panel of lenders which offered a lot more value to me as a borrower than any of the major banks. Beyond James, both Mandy and Jess were so quick to respond and efficient with getting everything done quickly. We had a quick settlement and everything went unconditional within a week.
I honestly could not fault my entire experience with the team at Williamstown and would recommend them to anyone looking for a homeinvestment loan.

I don't normally love using brokers due to the commissions. But we've gone through Mortgage Choice repeatedly and I'd recommend them 100.
In the latest case April 2023, we sought to refinance to get a better rate. James Ly got us a really good deal, which our current bank subsequently ended up beating - so we've stayed with our current bank. So it's a good deal for us, we save money.

It's hard to know where to start in praising Mortgage Choice Williamstown. I suppose the first place to start, is that Jon decided to help me in the first instance. When I originally made inquiries directly to my bank of 50 years or more the Commonwealth Bank, I couldn't get anyone to give me the time of day. Ultimately, it was one of the best decisions i could have made. Jonathan and the team made the process incredibly smooth and easy and I would definitely recommend use their service again.
Mortgage Choice do have a strong association with Blue Wealth property investment company. They originally recommend going with them on a new build project for an investment. However, once i decided not to proceed they did drop the idea and assist excellently with my own endeavours.

Jonathan gave us tips of what to expect during auctions and the process before and during settlement. He also recommended a conveyancer who was extremely helpful - while we were busy with work Jonathan did most of the leg work on our behalf, communicating with the conveyancer and the bank.
I would definitely recommend Jonathan to anyone who wants to invest or purchase. He has been extremely helpful and supportive during the whole process and he made sure that things are in the right order. Most importantly, we are glad to have him around as friend, and will certainly ask him again when we are ready to purchase/invest in our next property.
